The Dark Knight

Four out of four stars!!!!!!!  An incredible movie, great performances and actors, Christian Bale, Heath Ledger, Michael Caine, Morgan Freeman, Aaron Eckert, and Gary Oldman!  And they were awesome, the story and the pacing were incredible.  What these two movies have done with the batman story is amazing...they have taken it from the conventional cartoon movies, and transcended it into something we haven't seen before!  Everyone in this movie lights up the screen, it is such a fun movie to see.  Perfect!  Best movie of its kind that has ever been made.  I have run out of superlatives, go see it and enjoy.  It has been a long time since I have actually gotten so much enjoyment out of going to a movie!!

This is good news. I have heard similar reviews elsewhere - that it goes far beyond a superhero movie and is just a great movie. I can't wait to see it. Hopefully in a few weeks on vacation...

Does this mean you went to a movie theater? Garrett... shame, shame...

Oh, Garrett, I thought we were going to get to see it together. Maybe you would go again if I treated to movie and lunch. I can't wait to see it. I have heard nothing but raves about it. You had said it would be good and it will be for me, I know.

Garrett,
I finally saw this movie tonite. It was better than I expected. I like that the movie was character driven and not completely action driven. I did think his motorcycle kind of sucked though.
Also Maggie whats her name I did not like as Rachel. Which is wierd because I have liked her in every other movie I have seen her in. I thought Katie Holmes was better in "Begins" and i normally do not like her in anything.
I thought Ledger was good, but not as good as everyone built up last year. I was expecting much more from him in this role and did not see it.
But i would agree on all the others you mentioned. I also loved that they did not try to make Gothom look so futuristic like in Batman Begins. It looked like a normal city with no focus on space age looking buildings or cartoonish light rail systems.

4 out of 5 stars overall.
