"Tough Way to lose Weight"

===Indeed so goes the ole adage

So this picture is of me thoroughly defeated by a tiny organism that caused me some serious, serious pain. So serious that I was extremely close to asking Tasha to call the ambulance....(wouldn't that have been neat? A riley brothers tag team!) It hit me fast, Tina if you are reading this and you are thinking, "He seemed OK at dinner..." Well you are pretty much right, I was a little off, but I didn't think anything of it, then about 25 minutes after dinner, it came on hard!! Never before had I been so wiped out....My bed was pretty much the bathtub folks (fill in your own gory details) I had no strength to move. Did I mention how close I came to having Tasha call an ambulance? Well because of this absolute nonsense Tasha was unable to run in her marathon because she was running on no sleep. Well by about 5 o'clock AM I was done throwing up and was able to sleep until about noon when we had to check out...and then I took the above picture of myself while Tasha was driving me home....Feeling awful, looking awful...Grabbaggar gives you the highs and the lows folks, and because Tasha's marathon was ruined, that was/is a big low.

A bummer, indeed all around. And yes, it is a horrible way to lose weight!!! I know you feel terrible over Tasha not being able to run in the marathon and I don't blame you. I would have felt the same way had Dennis trained and been up for running the marathon and I ended up sick and he wasn't able to run the marathon. BUT...............I know the saying is overdone but thing's do happen for a reason. Tasha is a real trooper. I am sure if it had been reversed you would have done the same. That's what makes you two so GREAT together. Love you both, Susan

Garrett, I know you felt/feel terrible about Tasha not being able to run the marathon, however, I do agree with Susan, things do happen for a reason. And you two are ALWAYS there for each other. Having had food poisoning myself, I know how horrible it can be. Hopefully by now you are beginning to feel better. I do know it takes a while to get our of your system.
Love to all Sandy

Garrett, Sorry you were not feeling well, but glad you are better now.
Take it easy for a while.

Tasha, I know you were disappointed about not running, however, you were with your husband.

Let's all stay healthy.
Love, Namie

FYI:
I never thought about asking for an ambulance. I was too busy trying to figure out why I was being put on a stretcher.

Yuck! No fun at all. Really so sad to hear how sick you were. I know it was a bummer for Tasha, but she is a real trooper and you would have done the same for her had the situation been reversed. Gives new meaning to "In sickness and in health" huh?! Glad to hear you are doing better, but it must have exhausted you for a couple of days. That is a lot of unintended "ab work." Oh, did you hear we are having shrimp and Caesar salad he next time you come down? Just kidding - and especially because you are so careful about what you eat.
See you soon and love ya,
Denise

What ever happened to Dodgers talk. Get back to the important stuff Garrett. They are more games above .500 than the number of losses they have.
Eithier with walk off wins two days in a row!!
Again, they only have 19 losses and are like 20 games above .500!!!
And Manny is still like 3 weeks away!!!
Don't pinch me, I don't want to wake up from this right now!!!

I'm SO sorry that you all had to go through this. Take care of your stomach, Garrett!!! Hope your anniversary day puts the other day back to a distant memory.

Love you much, Mom
