5.4 Magnitude Earthquake

I was standing in a medical building at 19231 Victory Blvd in Reseda talking to a lady when we started to feel some rumbling.  So then she hides underneath her desk and the rumbling and jerking becomes more violent.  I was standing there calmly scanning my surroundings as I knew it was nowhere big enough to knock down the building I was in.  So then it was over and the lady crawls back out and is wiping her eyes with a kleenex.  She was scared and crying....I smiled and said, everythings allright, you're safe now, it's over.  And then I walked upstairs to the next office because the elevators were knocked out...and that was pretty much it.

Holy Cow!!!!!!!!!!!
Thank God you are alive Garrett! The realistic details that you added to the story made me dive under my desk. Pass the Kleenex, you are safe.

I've gotta say that I was scared, as you know. It sounded like a freight train coming and then it hit. Not nearly as bad as it sounded like it was going to be.
