Today I would like to wish everyone a safe and happy Halloween. This is one of the best holidays of the entire year, and one that Kevin and Zach have been looking forward to for months. One that thankfully I have been able to celebrate with my family as a kid and celebrate with Kevin and Zach right now.
But I would like to dedicate this post to all of the innocent children out there who are not able to enjoy Halloween because of their parents religious reasons. Unfortunately even in 2008 many families choose not to celebrate this day because they believe there is an invisible man in the sky who has an enemy named "Lucifer" These people believe that if they celebrate this day they are celebrating Lucifer and all his fallen angels. Oh well, if you believe that way, that is your right in America, but it sure is silly in my opinion! Let your kids have fun and be kids people, it will be over so quick!
I feel for you kids, your Church "Harvest Festivals" aren't quite the real thing are they? (:

Happy Halloween to you all, as well. I still love Halloween. Loved it as a kid and love it now.
I wish we lived closer so we could see Kevie and Zachie in their halloween costumes. But I am sure that we will see the pics.
Trick or Treat to all!! Long live Halloween. love ya, Susan
I will pass the word on to my kids. And beg them to forgive me for the mental damage you might feel they will have.
Don't worry about the "Harvest Festival" we wont be at one of those either, unless we acutally have a harvest to celebrate. I think the churches that have a "Harvest Festival" on Oct 31 should stop pretending and just call it a Halloween party. That is what they want to have anyway.
But tonite is good for one thing. i will hand a tract to every kid who comes to my door. How often do you get people coming to your door hoping that you will give them something. Sorry no candy though.
I forgot.
I do hope all the kids are safe and happy tonite as well.
