I know, I know - I should really watch the debates, but I am having the hardest time bringing myself to actually turn them on. I saw five minutes of the first one and I wanted to throw the TV through the window (good thing I didn't, as I am sure the hotel would have charged me for it). Do I really want to spend 90 minutes watching two grown (intelligent?) men not answer questions and try to get the upper-hand? Come on! Just answer the questions - either say what you believe or admit you are ashamed of yourself. They're both afraid to just say what they believe. Can I really bring myself to vote for one of these guys? Is voting against one enough to make me vote for the other? Are we really this bad off as a country that these are the best we have to offer? I think it is more indicative of how bad our populace is rather than how bad these two are - after all we have put them there. We are to blame.

I found it a draw.
Nothing to report. Except I have found Obama not very likable on TV. I find him interesting and likable on radio, but so far not TV.

Still undecided.

Even though I was in recovery, I watched every bit of it and thought they both did well, except for the "That One" comment. Both improved GREATLY in the delivery, but yes, my man Obama did the best. He just remained so calm and presidential. He was awesome.

I really just do not see what the draw is for people to Obama. He is not really all that interesting. A bit of an empty shell. I get noting from either of these guys really that makes me want to gravitate toward them.

I just dont like either guy. President Bush has moments that make you smile and bring out some good things, as well as more times you shake your head in disbelief that he is the President.

Reagan was able to shine and bring out optimism you did not know you had in you.

Clinton, who was more skillful than both, could make you smile and even cheer him on when you do not like him politically or even personally at all.

Even John Kerry, I found likable by the end of the 2004 campaign. I went from a John Kerry hater to a swift boat hater by the end of the campaign, because of how he handled that and other issues.

I can find myself with a desire to meet the four above and talk with them (Bush, the least of the four). But last nights debate left me completely empty in how I am drawn to them. But Barrack especially does not click and gives nothing to be desired.

My vote will be determined in the voting booth this year. Maybe I will close my eyes and let what happens happen.

Garrett, Garrett, where are you? You have the Palin verdict on abuse of power and the Rezko issue in IL - I am expecting something from the GrabBag? Are you so consumed with the party that you aren't giving the skinny to your readership?
