Thanks Mom,

The top one shows a woman who's husband was killed in Iraq and it is absolutely heartbreaking

Wonderful depiction of the wars that this country has fought and the heartbreak of seeing the loved ones left behind when their brave soldier does not return from battle.

Grandma, Dennis and I went to Pacific View Cemetary (where Grandpa is buried) for their annual Memorial Day service. It was very moving as always. The guest speaker was excellent. He said today is not about going to the beach, having barbecues, going to the movies, etc. but it is about remembering those brave men and women who have paid the ultimate price for our freedom..........that being their lives. Beautifully said. I for one will be forever grateful for the sacrifice and service by our military men and women who put on the uniform of this country and fight for our freedom, always. God Bless the United States of America. Love ya, Susan
